"And I will make them and the places all around my hill a blessing, and I will send down the showers in their season; they shall be showers of blessing." Ezekiel 34:26

God's word is his bond and he will never break it. You can always count on him to make good on what he says. He is trustworthy and his words will always accomplish what he wants it to do in our lives.

Sometimes we stop believing God for great things to happen in our lives. We think about how much time has passed by and decided that nothing good can happen for us now. If we think of time the way that God thinks about time our perspective will change. God’s timing is everything and he knows the appropriate time for our due season. Our timing might seem right to us but getting things out of God’s season never lasts.

We each have a due season and that season is sustainable in God. A time when everything we have believing and expecting from our Father begins to manifest. Waiting for your due season is a sacrifice, but it’s well worth the time and effort. As you wait patiently, wait with great expectation.

God is already blessing us every day with the necessities of life but there comes time when we receive our due season of answered prayers and his perfect will concerning our future.

So, if God says that he will make your life a blessing believe him. Focus on what he promised and wait with great expectation that your due season will come right on time.

" Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23

Can you remember watching or playing the game Tug of War? It's a game where the objective is for each team to pull the rope along with the members of the opposing team to their side. The team to do that first wins! It sounds easy but it can be quite difficult. Holding on to a rope and pulling with all of your might to force the opposite team to relent takes determination and an unwavering spirit.

God wants us in the same way to approach our confession of him the same way. He wants us to be resilient and hold on to what we believe. Consider the rope as your confession of hope, faith and confidence, no matter what tries to tug at it, you will not be willing to let it go.

Our opposition comes in many different forms. They come under the guise of discouragement, disappointment, fear and anxiety; their captain is no other than the father of lies. The enemy’s main objective is to launch an attack that will cause us to loosen our grip on our confession of faith. If we loosen our grip, the enemy will try at every turn to cease the moment to pull away our faith and everything we believe.

But thanks be unto God, have an elite team behind us; the power of the Holy Spirit, the Word and our heavenly Father gives us the strength we need to overcome! When you think of the lineup, the war was over long before it ever started! The whole host of hell could be on the other end and it wouldn't be enough to defeat us. Jesus already pulled the rope to the winning side when be conquered death, hell and the grave. He rose with all power and handed it to us.

The word declares “it’s not by might nor by power but by my Spirit” we are overcomers (Zechariah 4:6). How awesome is that?! When we made our confession to leave behind our sinful ways and follow God by faith, we automatically received the strength we need to stand and WIN everyday. It is up to us to hold on tight and refuse to let our hope and faith go in God. Regardless of who or what is on the other side trying to take it away from us, we have to remember that we have the victory in Christ Jesus.

"I will walk around in wide-open spaces, because I have pursued your precepts." Psalm 119:45

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think of a box? One of the things that everyone associate boxes with is moving! It is the dread of every person to go through the process of packing away what is worth taking.

Boxes are heaven sent! We use them to stow away and protect our valuables, keep us organized and make things easy to transport. Without them, moving or storing would be a logistic nightmare! Although moving can be a pain, we can appreciate its use and how it aids us in making transition easy from one place to another.

As wonderful as the concept of boxes are they can be seen as a major hindrance. We all have heard the expression "out of the box". It encourages exploration, creativity and new ways of thinking. As we assess our lives, we can identify moments where we stayed in the box. Over time we formed mental, social, emotional and spiritual boxes that we constructed for our mind. We packed away our liberty and freedom in exchange for false security. The box we use to protect what we deem valuable is the very box that is confining and preventing us from stepping out and living a purpose driven life. We learned to organize our lives in a confined space by limiting what comes in and out.

Why? Somewhere along the way we experienced trauma in our lives that impacted our belief system. That encounter enabled us to build a customized box for our protection. Whether it was something spoken or done to us that made us retreat to our box, our actions caused us to setup walls.

But the good news is that we don't have to stay there! Jesus Christ by his blood has freed us from the confinement of our guilt, shame, regret, hurt, pain and trauma. He made healing and deliverance available to us to help us break free from the restraints that seek to suffocate our life.

God has enabled us to "walk around in wide-open spaces"...it is not his will for us to be confined by the limitation of our mind or negative experiences. We don't have to live in the box that we create for ourselves, for the ones that others place us in or even the enemy.

So you might be wondering, if this is true, how can I be free? Well, I am glad you asked. God has made a way of escape, the plan is simple... You need a made up mind and a desire to pursue God and his will. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you out!

God wants us to step out and discover the benefits of living free, whole and delivered.

We must believe that he has a plan for our lives and we can't fulfill or walk it out without a renewed mind and a regenerated heart. Today, I pray that the strength of God's right hand pulls you up and out of the confinement of your mind and break the restraints from your heart. May he deliver you into your season of better days and may you experience the joy of his freedom and the peace of true security in him.
