2 Timothy 4:2 Amplified

"preach the word [as an official messenger]; be ready when the time is right and even when it is not [keep your sense of urgency, whether the opportunity seems favorable or unfavorable, whether convenient or inconvenient, whether welcome or unwelcome]; correct [those who err in doctrine or behavior], warn [those who sin], exhort and encourage [those who are growing toward spiritual maturity], with inexhaustible patience and [faithful] teaching."

As believers, we are comfortable sharing the gospel when we feel we are ready and equip. Yet, God’s word reminds us that we should be ready to share his message at any time. The Holy Spirit gives us the unction when we accept the opportunity to share the word of God. For some reason, we have come to the conclusion that in order for us to be used by God we must have knowledge of every scripture in the Bible. Yes, God wants us to study the word to gain knowledge, understanding and wisdom. However, he is not asking us to become a scholar or get a degree in theology before sharing his word.

It's not easy to speak up...silence can appear to be a better option. However, when it comes to sharing God's word...we should always be willing and able to do so regardless of the "conditions". The story of the woman at the well reminds us what true evangelism is all about. Her experience with Jesus compelled her to tell a whole village about a man that knew everything about her. She didn’t think about her current living situation or pondered in her heart if they would receive the message of hope from "someone like her". Nothing seemed to matter in that moment. Her desire to give what she received from the Lord was her priority. After opening her heart, she compelled others to consider the invitation as well.

We may feel ill equip to impart God’s word in others because we lack confidence or knowledge. Our apprehensions are resting on our ability to minister the word in our own strength and might. But, when we rely on the Spirit of God, he will lead and guide us as we minister from a place of boldness and confidence. The word of comfort, exhortation, edification and correction (when spoken in love) never gets old. Someone needs a word that will pull them up and out of what they are going through.

Preach the word at all cost even when its uncomfortable. You will be surprise at what he can do with your obedience. As you share God’s message of hope, you are inviting them to experience a love they have never known and a freedom that only God can give.

Psalm 40:3

"He has put a new song in my mouth- praise to our God; many will see it and fear, And will trust in the Lord."

Sing a new song unto the Lord today. When you worship from the heart you begin to tap into the song of the Lord. He gives us a new song and bring us deeper into his presence. You will experience a greater realm of worship when you sing from your spirit. He seek true worshippers to come into agreement with heaven.

He puts a new song in your heart to uplift you and remind you of the power that is on the inside of you. When you begin to praise God it will cause many to look to God and trust him. Your ability to worship God despite whatever you are dealing with has the power to compel others. Let your worship testify of God's goodness.

Your worship is not just in a song but the way you choose to live. Its a lifestyle!

John16:33

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

Today’s scripture reminds us of the peace that only God can give in trying times. He never promised that our journey in life would be smooth. Yet, he did promise that he will give us what we need to be overcomers. God’s promise of perfect peace in tumult time is exactly what we need to face our challenges.

The peace of God brings reassurance, confidence, strength and hope. It fortifies our soul with comfort in the face of our turmoil. When we have God’s peace, we are not easily discouraged or faint of heart. Peace is one of God’s greatest promise and treasure. So many people seek it but, rarely do they ever really find it. However, all believers can and have obtained this peace through Jesus Christ. He secured our peace on the cross. He nailed every problem that we will ever face and purchased our peace with his precious blood.

There will be times in your life when you will experience the complete beauty of the peace of God that is just unexplainable. Jesus gives us peace even when it doesn’t make sense to have it. All you know is that you have a peace about your outcome that you could never give yourself. True peace comes from God, if you desire his peace today all you have to do is ask. Let go of the issues that is weighing you down, that’s causing sleepless nights and that’s pushing you into fear. When you trust God to take care of you, his peace is sure to follow.
