"...Not one word has failed of all His good promise..." 1Kings 8:56

A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen. It represents an oath we can count on. God assures us that he is the only one that can guarantee that HIS promises for our lives will come to pass. Even with the best intentions we all have made promises in our life time that we could not keep to others or they couldn't keep to us. But, when God speaks, his words of promise will not return to void but will accomplish what he sends it forth to do in our lives.

We can read the word of God and discover that His promises are at work in our lives every single day. The scriptures are loaded with so many wonderful promises of God that we can identify if we take the time to observe them.

God promises to:

Love unconditionally,

Never leave us nor forsake us,

Give us plans for a prosperous future,

Give Strength & Power,

Deliver, keep & preserve us,

Heal us,

Guides and lead us to the path of righteousness,

Grant Understanding, Knowledge & Wisdom in this life,

Remain faithful even though we do not always remain faithful,

Give salvation to all who desires it,

Give us His Peace, Joy and Mercy,

Partake in His glorious riches in heaven,

Adopt into his royal family,

and give us his provision for our lives!

To God be ALL the Glory! Who can make those promise besides our risen Savior?

We all have experienced God's promises. Do not let Trials and temptations convince you to change your confession about God. They come as a tag team to uproot the word of God from our hearts and run havoc in our lives. Their sole purpose is to make us renounce God's promises and what he has already done in our lives to prove who he is in our lives. Don't fall for it!

God's words are NEVER empty. They are full of life, and you can depend on him to keep his word. Take the time to dwell and confess the good promises of God over your life, family, ministry, business, career and community today. God's word will never fail you, just remember to hold on to them regardless of what your season may bring.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm 72:26

We all need strength! Strength to work, live and do the things we are called to do. Yet, we find ourselves depleted because of everything that we are trying to accomplish. At times, we will find that our strength is not sufficient alone. Without God's intervention we will find ourselves in a place we all dread...a space of being overwhelmed.

Right now, confess that you need God to be the strength of your heart and your portion forever. The part of you that longs to bear all of your cares and concerns on him. Our dependency on God's strength reminds us to be vulnerable and transparent in his presence. When we realize that we can't do life on our own, the Spirit of God ushers us to the one that can keep us.

So, whatever you can not handle or carry today. Jesus is able to see you through. He will empower you with his strength so that everything that seems too heavy to carry will now feel light as a feather.

May every burden be lifted now and may the supernatural strength of the Lord be imparted to you today!

"If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you rain in its season, and the ground will yield its crops and the trees their fruit." Leviticus 26:3-4

What comes to mind when you think of the word Increase? One would imagine receiving more in quantity, another will think of a promotion to something greater or growth in an area in one's life that's lacking vitality. Each initial thought is correct... it's all of those things. Increase is something we all strive and work towards. As humans, we measure how successful we are by how well we are able to see increase in our lives over time. Whether it’s in our career, education, family, marriage, ministry or relationships we want to see growth.

By definition, increase is to become or make greater in size, amount, intensity, or degree; It is an instance of growing or making greater. As children of God we are blessed with everything we need, yet there are areas where we have not seen the manifestation of some things in our lives. In other words, we haven't witnessed the "rain" or growth where we believe we need it the most.

Yet, God is willing to bring increase in every area of our lives when we yield to the leading of his Holy Spirit and walk in obedience by faith. Yielding is two-fold. As we yield to God, he in turn will allow the work of our hands to bring forth fruit in our season. As a believer, increase is a sign of obedience and submission to the Lord.

There is a balance that God is cultivating in us. Without obedience and wisdom from the Spirit of God, our stewardship would not be strong enough to handle the increase that God want to pour into our lives. If we are desiring increase then we need to seek those things that will cause us to maintain what we are asking our heavenly Father for.

So, when you pray, remember to balance your request. If you desire God to increase an area in your life, remember to ask for his Spirit of humility and obedience to steward the increase he is willing to bless you with.
