It’s your daily dose of Fresh Manna Read: Joshua 1: 1-9

"Get ready" is a phrase that we all experienced being told at some point in our lives, whether by a parent, friend, teacher, minister, or coach. We have heard those words told to us for so many different reasons. But when God he tells us to get ready, he is preparing us for action. We have to make it up in our minds that we want what God wants for us. That by any means necessary we have to obtain our blessing and lay hold of our possession. We have to cross over from the old into our new. The crossing becomes a challenge when we are not equipped to withstand what comes up against us while we are trying to possess our promise. We have to leave our old way of thinking, working, seeking, and living to possess something fresh and new that is going to propel us into our promised destiny. With every attempt to move forward, our past will always want to hitch a ride. We can’t allow our past to dictate our future. In order to possess and take hold of our God-given inheritance, we need to pack light! Let the past stay in the past and don’t invite it along, it will only be a hindrance to where you are going.

The scripture says, “There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life…I will not fail thee nor forsake thee. This is a powerful declaration and a bold statement that only requires your belief. God's word becomes manifested when you come into agreement with it. To know that your enemy or foe cannot overtake you should be a relief. This is such a wonderful assurance on your journey to possess the promise God has prepared for you. All the days of our lives we can take heart knowing that nothing can happen without God's approval, and even then, what's allowed is in a controlled environment! There are limits and boundaries to what God allows in our life along the way to our possession. If you believe that God is in complete control and he is all-powerful, who can contend with him? Who can stand in obstruction before him? No one! If our mighty God is for us, who can be against us as we set out to possess what he has spoken? No plan of the enemy can stand against God’s divine construct for our lives.

We are able to possess our promise with simple instructions. (1). He requires that we cloth our self with courage (2). We must abide in his word and meditate on it day and night and lastly (3). Obey his instructions. The bible declares that when we do these things he will make our ways prosperous and then we shall have good success! There is an order that God wants us to follow. Our life journey will definitely have some roadblocks, hills, mountains, rivers, and valleys but be not dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with us. Are you ready to possess your promise? Are you ready to say yes to God’s way? Are you ready to have good success? If you are ready, get into agreement with heaven and sound the alarm and declare I am crossing over into my promise!

Read: Psalms 28 AMP

Scripture verses highlighted 7-9

7 My heart trusts [with unwavering confidence] in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, And with my song I shall thank Him and praise Him. 8 The Lord is their [unyielding] strength, And He is the fortress of salvation to His anointed. 9 Save your people and bless your inheritance; be their shepherd also, and carry them forever.

God is our strength, shield, and fortress! Take a moment to digest that fact and imagine what that would look like in the midst of what you are battling with right now. Do you have that picture in mind? Good. God wants you to see him as your Great Protector, Pillar of Strength, and Mighty Fortress. God’s protection is described in this psalm as an impenetrable shield. Nothing is getting past God’s protection! He is our place of retreat and refuge when things get overwhelming. When our hearts are filled with anxiety, fear, hurt, or pain he wants us to know that we are protected by his grace, love, and mercy.

Through it all, we can still rejoice because we know where our help and strength comes from. Our hearts are made glad when we think of how good God is and all that he has brought us through before. His track record speaks for itself, in your darkest moment he was there and sheltered you with is love and peace. Nothing has changed, he will do it again.

I challenge you to lean on him for strength, trust him for protection and he will keep you according to His divine will. Let the song of your heart today be one of assurance! He did not bring you this far to leave you now. He cares for you more than we will ever know or fathom. You don’t have to walk this journey in your own strength. Remember he is your strength if you let him, your fortress when you need a place to retreat and your shield in the fight. He can be all of that for you just give him a try.

Read Zechariah 4:6-9

Scripture highlight: Who are you, O great Mountain? Zec 4:7

Start looking at your situation from the perspective of God's enabling grace. Whatever he has called your hands to do, you shall finish it regardless of the opposition. No matter how great the mountain that stands before you. It is not by might nor by power, but by his Spirit that we accomplish what he has set before us. We should never look at our mountain face to face because they are not our equal.

God wants us to look at our mountain from an elevated position. Rising above the situation is not just a cliche, its a fact. Once we have taken on God's perspective concerning our situation we have positioned ourselves to respond in faith and not fear. Elevating our vision puts us in a position to see clearly through his Holy Spirit.

We must understand that our mountains are not bigger than our God. The issue that is before us is not greater than who we are and who God call us to be. Knowing who we are in Christ is the most important truth a believer must uphold. God declared in his word that we are more than conquerors and overcomers. Therefore, we should never make adversity, fear, sickness, lack, or anything else our equal because they are all under our feet. They can not hold power over us when we stand in our spiritual authority. We are children of God and nothing by any means shall harm or overtake us. When we are in the will of God as Zerubbabel was, the mountains we face will bow and crumble as a plain before us.

Don't be intimidated at the size and grand stature of the mountain that stands in your way. All you have to do is declare and speak the word of the Lord and watch it be removed! There is power in our confession of faith. Don't be discouraged, fustrated, or weary in what he is calling you to do. When the mountains form just Speak to it and see the salvation of the Lord. He is on your side.
